Crochet Flower Pattern

Here is a very basic and beautiful pattern on how to crochet a rose. This is just for the rose part. I will put up a free leaf pattern soon. Just keep checking in.

This pattern incorporates single crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet stitches.

You actually can make it as big as you want it or as small. It all depends on how many chains you do.

This is a small rose that I crocheted!! Enjoy

Pattern:

Chain 36

Row 1:

1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and 1 sc into each ch until you reach the end. You should have 35sc

Row 2:

Turn.
chain 3, dc in the same sc chain 3, slip stitch (sl st) in the next sc

(chain 3, 3 dc in the next sc, chain 3, sl st into next sc) do this 2 times
(chain 3, 2 dc in the next 2 sc, chain 3, sl st in the next sc) do this 3 times
(chain 4, 2 triples into next 3 sc, chain 4, sl st in next sc) do this 5 times

Fasten off.

Now you will have something that looks similar to the crochet picture below.

Next, what you want to do is roll the pattern up by starting with the smaller end. So you will have the small pedals in the middle and the larger ones on the outside.
