Tomato and Feta Sandwiches

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law and I am so glad I did. These sandwiches are usually served as a side dish to a main meal. They have a nice crispy edge with a garlic spread that makes them worth making anytime of day. My husband and I can down 8 of these with no problem.

In our household garlic is a dear friend of ours. From meat to salads, we use it on a regular basis, practically in anything that we are making. We both love the bold flavor that it gives to any recipe.

Not only is garlic very tasty in food but it actually has lots of benefits for your body. It's antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal. It's prevents many cancers such as colon, stomach, and breast. It's a great treatment for colds, flu, coughs, headaches, and many heart and blood conditions.

Makes: 6 sandwiches

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon sour cream
1/3 cup mayo
2 garlic cloves
Feta cheese (crumble)
Slices of preferred bread
1 tomato (slices)

Directions:

1. Cut bread in half and put in toaster until slight crisp
2. In a small dish combine sour cream, mayo, and garlic. Mix until well combined.
3. Lighty spread the garlicy mixture on each bread piece. Lightly crumble feta cheese on each slice.
4. Add tomato on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
