Dronning Maud Pudding

This is very creamy pudding that originated in Norway and is very popular among the people. The pudding is layered with a thick cream and shredded chocolate shavings in between the layers. When I saw the recipe I knew I had to try it and I’m glad I did. It is a very light and creamy pudding that is very easy to make and delicious to eat!

Ingredients:

3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons gelatin
1 pint heavy whipping cream
dark chocolate

Directions:

1. Pour gelatin in small bowl and pour some hot water just to cover it. Mix it up so it doesn’t clump. Set aside.
2. Whip the whipping cream on high-speed until it is nice and thick. Don’t over mix. Set aside.
3. Whip the eggs and sugar until the mixture thickens on med high-speed.
4. Carefully and slowly mix the gelatin into the egg and sugar mixture.
5. Then add the whipping cream and gently mix in until combined.
6. Shred the chocolate

Assemble:

Take a nice bowl and put the shredded chocolate on the bottom (first layer)
Pour the cream mixture on top (second layer) and then continue the layering until you reach the top. The chocolate shavings should be your last layer.
Put the finished product in the fridge for an hour
