Perfect Crepes

These are sweet and delicate crepes that  go perfect with fruit, powdered sugar, maple syrup, or honey.

I found this recipe a long time ago and have used it ever since. I know a lot of people get intimidated by trying to attempt to make these scrumptious crepes but they are actually very easy to make. It’s an easy recipe with simple ingredients and very enjoyable to eat.

Crepes are a favorite in my culture and at my house!

Here is my recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Beat the egg and milk together until combined. Add the flour a little at a time while mixing. Add sugar and salt until well combined. Let stand for 10 minutes.

2. Heat your skillet on medium until it’s well heated. Pour 1/3 cup into skillet with ladel (I use a ceramic coated skillet). Turn the skillet around and around so that the batter can spread all over to form a circular crepe. Cook for a minute or until the batter no longer moves around and is nice and brown on the other side.

3. Flip the crepe over to the other side. It should take a minute on each side depending on if your skillet is well heated.
