Simple Crochet Hat Pattern

Oh how I love crocheting and finding easy patterns to do. This pattern is great for both babies and adults. It's very simple to crochet and doesn't take too long. I used this pattern to make one for my infant niece (image down below) for a little photo session that we did. You can use this pattern and change it to make your own.



Here is the pattern:

Infant Hat:

Ch2

Rounds

1. 11dc in first ch, sl st to join
2. Ch2, *dc in next st, 2dc in next st, repeat from * all the way around, sl st to join
3. dc in each st around, sl st to join (do this how many times as you want to achieve desired hat)

Slip stitch around, if desired

Baby Hat:

Ch2

Crochet rounds 1-2 (infant hat) then,

Rounds

1. Ch2, *dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in next st, repeat from * all the way around, sl st to join
2. dc in each st around, sl st to join (do this how many times as you want to achieve desired hat)

Slip stitch around, if desired

Adult Hat:

Ch2

Crochet rounds 1-2 (infant hat) then, crochet round 1 in baby hat, then

1. Ch2, *dc in next 3 stitches, 2 dc in next st, repeat from * all the way around, sl st to join
2. dc in each st around, sl st to join (do this how many times as you want to achieve desired hat)

Slip stitch around, if desired
